STRM is a yield deployment layer. You deposit USDT or USDC, and we allocate it across two institutional-grade DeFi strategies on your behalf — Pendle Finance (fixed yield from tokenized BTC treasury dividends) and Ethena (delta-neutral basis yield from crypto funding rates).
You don't need to manage wallets, interact with protocols, or understand DeFi mechanics. STRM handles the deployment and gives you a clean dashboard showing your balance and returns. Think of it like a yield-focused managed account, but built on-chain and accessible from anywhere in the world.
The minimum deposit is $500 USDT or USDC equivalent. There is no maximum for Core tier participants.
We set the $500 floor to ensure the yield generated meaningfully outweighs any transaction costs and to maintain a quality participant base. At $500 earning ~11% blended APY, you're looking at roughly $55 in yield over 12 months — more than most savings accounts pay in multiple years.
We'll be direct: DeFi yield programs carry real risk and STRM is no exception. Your capital is not insured, not guaranteed, and not held in a bank. Here's an honest breakdown:
What's mitigated: Both Pendle and Ethena have been independently audited by multiple top-tier security firms (Ackee, Dedaub, Spearbit, Zellic, Pashov). Pendle has processed billions in TVL. Ethena's sUSDe has maintained its peg through multiple market cycles. We deploy only into stablecoin-denominated strategies — no directional crypto exposure.
What's not eliminated: Smart contract exploits (rare but possible), stablecoin de-peg events, protocol governance failures, and regulatory changes in your jurisdiction. These are low-probability but real scenarios that could result in partial loss of funds.
If capital preservation is your primary goal, STRM is not the right product. If you're comfortable accepting DeFi risk in exchange for yields significantly above traditional finance, STRM is built for you.
You need to be able to send USDT or USDC from somewhere — a crypto exchange account is enough. You don't need your own self-custody wallet to participate in STRM.
Here's the flow: Join the waitlist → receive portal credentials by email → log into your portal → get your unique deposit address → send USDT (TRC-20) or USDC from any exchange (Binance, OKX, Bitunix, etc.) → your balance appears in the portal within 48 hours.
If you're new to crypto, the simplest path is: sign up on a local exchange, buy USDT, send it to your STRM deposit address. That's it.
It depends on which strategy your funds are in:
Ethena Basis Yield (~9% APY): Liquid. You can request withdrawal at any time and expect processing within 1–3 business days under normal conditions.
Pendle Fixed Yield (~17% APY): Fixed until August 2026 maturity. Early exit is possible via Pendle's secondary market but may result in a discount to face value depending on market conditions. We'll always show you the estimated exit value before you confirm.
Withdrawal requests are submitted through your portal dashboard. We process in the order received and aim to complete all withdrawals within 3–5 business days.
STRM is designed for global participation and is particularly well-suited to investors in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and other regions where access to institutional yield has historically been restricted by geography or minimum investment size.
Not available to: US persons, US residents, or entities incorporated in the United States. We also screen participants from sanctioned jurisdictions.
On taxes: STRM does not withhold tax, does not issue tax documents, and does not report to any tax authority on your behalf. You are solely responsible for declaring yield income under the laws of your own country. We recommend consulting a local tax advisor. In many SEA jurisdictions, crypto yield is currently in a legal grey area — but that doesn't mean it's tax-free.
Two reasons — and neither involves tokens, emissions, or speculative promises.
Pendle Fixed Yield: Yields around 17% because it captures the fixed-rate leg of tokenized BTC treasury dividend streams. MicroStrategy-style BTC treasuries generate real cash flows from their BTC holdings, and Pendle allows these to be structured into fixed-rate instruments. You're effectively buying a discounted bond that matures at par — the spread is your return.
Ethena Basis Yield: Yields around 9% because it captures the funding rate that leveraged crypto traders pay every 8 hours to hold long positions. When traders are aggressively long (which is most of the time in crypto), they pay a premium to shorts. Ethena holds a delta-neutral position — long spot, short perp — and collects this premium. No directional bet required.
Banks pay 1–3% because they lend your money at low margins, keep a spread, and operate in a heavily regulated, capital-constrained system. DeFi removes the intermediaries and passes the yield directly to capital providers. The tradeoff is you take on smart contract risk instead of relying on deposit insurance.

Within 48 hours: You'll receive a welcome email with a link to complete a brief onboarding form — name, country, intended deposit size, and a self-certification that you're not a US person.
After onboarding: We'll send your portal credentials (login to portal.strmyield.com). Your portal shows your unique deposit address, live strategy APYs, and your balance dashboard.
After your first deposit: Funds are allocated to strategies within 48 hours. You'll see your balance and first yield accrual in the portal. From there, the program runs automatically — no action required on your end unless you want to deposit more or request a withdrawal.
